Strength of a Warrior

There comes a time when you realize that strength isn’t always about pushing forward—it’s also about knowing when to let go.
I’ve spent years fighting for what’s right, standing tall in rooms where others stayed silent, and defending those without a voice. I believe in integrity, especially when no one’s watching. In healthcare, in leadership, and in life—that kind of integrity matters. And it costs something.
But not every battle is meant to be fought forever. Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is put down the armor and walk away. Not out of defeat, but out of wisdom.
I’m learning the difference between being a warrior and being a martyr. I’m learning that it’s okay to say: This one isn’t mine to carry anymore.
Because at the end of the day, my greatest legacy isn’t built in boardrooms or through battles—it’s built in the hearts of my children, the peace of my home, and the love I give and receive every day.
I will always be an advocate. I will always choose integrity. But more than anything, I’m choosing me—and the beautiful, messy, sacred life I’ve built with my family.
